Screen Trove is a public directory of independent cinemas. The site is browseable without an account, and we do not require you to identify yourself in order to read film pages or cinema pages. This page describes the limited information we collect when you visit.
What we collect automatically
Like most websites, our servers maintain access logs that record the URL you requested, the timestamp of the request, your approximate region (derived from your IP address), the referring page if any, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are kept for operational diagnostics, fraud prevention, and aggregate traffic reporting, and are rotated out within ninety days.
Cookies
Screen Trove itself does not set cookies for tracking purposes. We may use a single first-party cookie to remember non-personal display preferences (such as a default city) when you opt in. Third-party services embedded on the site — most notably the advertising slots described below — may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
